Monitoring of frog and toad calls is simple, fun, and easy to learn. No experience is necessary, training will cover topics such as basic identification of local frogs and toads, their natural history, background about why monitoring amphibians is so important, establishing a route, safety, materials, and methods for monitoring. Persons interested in the training or monitoring should contact the Hancock Park District office at 419-425-7275 or Sarah Betts, Natural Resource Coordinator, at sbetts@hancockparks.com.
