At Riverbend Recreation Area

Get a group of 25 or less together and bring them to RIVERBEND RECREATION AREA  for a fall color adventure on the back of our wagon for an old-fashioned tractor-drawn hayride. Hayrides are available mid-September to early November, weather permitting. Hayrides taken first come, first served with $60 advance payment through the HPD office. Rides can be topped off by using the campground for a campfire or a shelter can be reserved for $40.

FEES: Rates are set at $60 per load. HPD accepts checks (preferred), made payable to Hancock Park District, or cash in small denominations.  The exact amount is appreciated. Fee must be paid at the time the reservation is made to confirm. HPD no longer accepts any bills larger than $20 denomination for facility reservations, program fees, and concession fees (ski rentals, boat rentals, and hayrides).
