Bicycling along  the Blachard Valley GreenwayBicycling
Tours: Town and country side are linked with over 100 miles of scenic, flat roadways that make Hancock County like a “giant bikeway” in Northwest Ohio. Including the following tours:

  • Old Mill Stream - 40 miles
  • Ottawa Creek – 32 miles
  • North Country – 45 miles

A complete Bicycling Guide of Findlay and Hancock County is available at through the Hancock Park District office.

  • Blanchard River Greenway Bike Trail: Ride a rail trail over the old Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The paved surface is 10 feet wide and travels 1.5 miles from Broad Avenue to Main Street.
  • Handlebar Hollow: A two-mile, one-way loop challenge on a narrow winding, mountain bike trail through rugged terrain. Developed by the Hancock County Handlebars Bike Club and local volunteers, the bike trail is located at River Landings, off Broad Avenue. CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
  • Van Buren State Park Bike Trail: Three mile singletrack loop marked with blue arrows. Trail is dedicated to hiking and biking. The trail criss-crosses several ravines offering a rider a fair amount of short climbs and descents. It winds through tall pines, climbs a log pile here or there and offers a scenic view of the lake. It drains fairly well and can be ridden year around. Van Buren State Park Website
